Stephen Hauschka
AGENCY
PERFORMING UNDER PRESSURE
Stephen Hauschka is a former NFL placekicker turned performance coach, organizational culture consultant, and keynote speaker. Best known for his time with the Seattle Seahawks, Hauschka played a pivotal role in the team's success, including their victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. Over the course of his NFL career, he was recognized for his precision, mental resilience, and leadership—attributes that now inform his work off the field.
Stephen's path to the NFL was unconventional. After earning a degree in neuroscience from Middlebury College, he pursued graduate studies and football at North Carolina State University, where his kicking skills earned national recognition. Undrafted in 2008, he ultimately secured a long-term role with the Seahawks, setting multiple franchise records and earning a reputation as one of the league's most consistent kickers. He later played for the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars before retiring from professional football.
Today, Stephen channels the same mindset and discipline that fueled his athletic success into helping others thrive under pressure. As a performance coach and organizational culture consultant, he works with leaders, teams, and companies to enhance clarity, focus, and resilience in high-stakes environments. Through workshops and keynotes, he shares actionable strategies for performing at a high level when it matters most—drawing on lessons from his NFL career to help others unlock their full potential under pressure.
